Long day today, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking about Milford Sound.

Slept well.

Woke up in a small house in a big place.

Hit the road early, feeling chirpy.

Went bush.

Checked out a couple of rivers.

One or two mountains.

The odd waterfall.

A couple of mirror lakes.

Went to bed with a stomach full of food and a head full of memories.

‘I love you,’ said Small.

‘I know,’ I said. We laughed. We thought about Star Wars and Han Solo being the best character but didn’t need to say. We went back to our books and fell asleep happy.
